BCKOR - Bragg Creek & Kananaskis Outdoor Recreation

BCKOR is your recreation guide to a wilderness paradise, 20min from Calgary. Bragg Creek is a picturesque hamlet located 30km west of Calgary, at the confluence of Bragg Creek and the Elbow River. It is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, on the edge of Kananaskis Country. A mixture of rolling hills, jagged peaks and crystal clear streams surround the community and provide an amazing playground for outdoor recreation.

Scattered among the scenic landscape, you will find everything from world class mountain biking and breath taking hikes, to an ice cavern and picture perfect picnic areas. After your days adventure, stop by and visit the hamlet. It's quaint shops provide everything from ice cream and yoga, to renown restaurants and art displays. The hamlet is a worthwhile trip all on its own.

Come out for the day, or join a club and take advantage of this beautiful area every week. Better yet, become a self indulgent recreation nut and live everyday with Bragg Creek & Kananaskis recreation on your mind. No matter what your desire, this website will help provide a platform for experiencing the many recreational adventures offered.
